Upholstery or fabrics that won’t later be rinsed

Before you start:
Make sure you have sufficient ventilation in the area.
Do not mix Dawn® Powerwash with any other detergent or cleaning product.
Before cleaning any hard surface in your home, be sure to test on an inconspicuous spot first. Simply spray Dawn® Powerwash on a small area then rinse or wipe away with a damp cloth or sponge. If no reaction to your surface occurs, then you’re all set to clean the remainder of the surface!

What You’ll Need to Clean Your Hard Surfaces
Everything from countertops to your fridge can gather dirt, dust, grease, and spills over time. Luckily, everything you’ll need to clean your hard surfaces can already be found in your home:
Concentrated dish soap that’s tough on stains and grease but gentle on stainless steel, granite, and glassware, like Dawn® Platinum Plus Powerwash Dish Spray
Soft cloth or sponge
Water
Make sure you choose cleaning tools that are appropriate for use on the surface you intend to clean. If in doubt, check with the manufacturer for recommended care instructions.
How to Clean Your Hard Surfaces
1. Clear the area.
For easier cleaning, remove clutter and other items from your surfaces.
2. Spray 1-3 full sprays of Dawn® Powerwash Dish Spray.
Be mindful of how many sprays you apply as too much can lead to a lot of suds, which will require additional rinsing and wiping to remove leftover soap.
3. Wipe and Rinse.
Using a cloth or sponge, wipe or scrub down the surface to remove any dirt and grease. Rinse your sponge or cloth under running water until all suds are gone.
For simple messes, just spray directly on the mess, wipe, and rinse
For tougher, burnt-on or baked-on messes, spray and wait a few minutes before wiping. Always test on a small area before use.
4. Wipe down with a damp cloth.
Wipe down your surface with a wet cloth or sponge making sure any remaining grease and grime is removed.
5. Dry the surface.
Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe down any remaining excess soap or water from your surface for a polished, finished look.
