With Dawn Powerwash you can save up to 50% of the time spent washing dishes.* That's because Powerwash has 3 cleaning boosters not found in traditional dish soap that remove grease 5X faster.**
1. Spray Dawn Powerwash's spray-activated suds start working on contact without added water.

The instant suds already contain the ideal amount of water and cleaning ingredients to tackle your toughest messes, so water is only needed after you're done washing the dish when you’re ready to rinse! Adding water before rinsing, even as a preparation step prior to spraying can dilute the formula and may negatively affect cleaning performance.
2. Wipe or lightly scrub for stuck-on messes

3. Rinse until suds have been fully removed from the dish

For simple messes: Just spray, wipe, and rinse.
For tougher messes: You can skip the overnight soak, just let the suds sit for 3-4 minutes. You may see the suds gradually change from white to the color of the mess as Powerwash starts breaking down grease. Then, lightly scrub, and rinse.
Be sure the trigger is unlocked by turning the tip of the nozzle to match up the cutouts and complete a yellow shape. When starting a new bottle, you may need to prime it by spraying 3-5 full range trigger pulls for Powerwash to travel through the sprayer.

When using, spray upright and away from your face at arm’s length. Powerwash has a unique sprayer that isn’t like other sprayers on the market, so you can pull a little or all the way to the end. If you are doing partial pulls, your bottle may cave in from the pressure – don’t worry! If this happens, try squeezing the trigger fully a few times (into the sink), making sure the trigger is fully depressed. You can also simply remove and reconnect the sprayer for the bottle to return to its original state.
Things to avoid using Dawn Powerwash for:
Painted, varnished, or coated surfaces, including automobile paint
Precious metals, copper, or sterling silver
Leather, upholstery, or fabrics that won’t later be rinsed
Unfinished cast aluminum surfaces and fixtures. Since aluminum can be sensitive to cleaning products, we recommend spraying and immediately rinsing on finished aluminum items.
Powerwash IS safe for use on Cast Iron. Note: as with other dish soaps, Dawn Powerwash can remove the seasoning on cast iron pans and griddles
